Director David Lean used a wooden bridge installation for a moving scene where a train explodes on the bridge despite the fact that the actual Bridge over the River Kwai is in Thailand. The remains of the historic bridges are still visible today sixty years after they were constructed. Take a breathtaking stroll by strolling down to the location.
